Invest in Gender Equality
Empower a woman in the “Count Her In” Tech Program!
With the Count-Her-In Tech Program, we aim to address the gender disparity in tech and the tangible impact of increased female representation on innovation, productivity, and profitability within the sector.
We have a goal to train 1,000 female engineers annually.
We understand the power of training women and the multiplier effect it can have on the economy, hence this initiative, which will be launched annually during International Women’s Day.
Our primary objective is to train female engineers, providing them with the knowledge, mentorship and resources they need to succeed.
Our Training costs NGN 250,000 but as part of our contribution to this mission, we will offer a 50% discount in commemorating International Women’s Day bringing the training cost down toNGN 125,000.
Join us to empower 1,000 women today!
About the Program
Annually we will put out a call for entry and vet the best 1,000 women for the training. These women will be trained for 16 weeks and placed on an 8-week Internship where they will work on practical real-life experiences in preparation for work.
Our focus courses include:
We will also teach them life skills like Critical Thinking, Communication, Innovation & Problem Solving. At the end of the program, we will shortlist the best and connect them to jobs in the Digital Economy!

Previously entrenched in a traditional job while juggling part-time schooling, I found myself yearning for more control over my schedule and a path that aligned better with my aspirations. Recognizing that the trajectory of my former career wasn't leading me where I wanted to go, I made the bold decision to pivot into the tech industry.

Growing up, I always loved tinkering with computers, but I had no idea how to turn that passion into a career. I ended up studying environmental toxicology at the university, which was interesting but never felt quite right after which I landed a job as a customer service representative which still didn’t feel right. Then I heard about Skillpaddy which made me realize that there is more I could achieve.

My journey is like going from a science lab studying tiny molecules to diving into the exciting world of technology. Back when I was studying biochemistry, I felt lost in all the complicated stuff, and it just didn't click with me. Instead of getting stuck in confusing science equations, I started working with computers and writing code. It felt like unlocking a superpower!

My tech journey started after I finished school in 2021. What inspired me to choose this path? Well, it was seeing how successful my male friends were in the tech world. They had so many chances to do exciting things, both here and abroad. It got me thinking about how the tech industry is like a Gold mine, brimming with opportunities waiting to be discovered.
